Farmers Market Quiche

Ingredients:

- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1-1 1/2cups filling
- 1 prepared pie crust
Instructions
In a bowl mix together eggs and heavy ccream. Mix in fillings. Pour into prepared pie crust. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Top should be golden and center should be set. Internal temperature should reach 165 degrees. Allow to cool 10 minutes before slicing.
Quiche is such an amazing choice because it is highly customizable! You can use whatever kind of eggs you have on hand. Duck eggs are a great choice for a richer tasting quiche.
For the filling use any combination of your favorite meats, cheeses and seasonal produce. We like to keep a ratio of 1/2 cup each of meat, cheese and produce but thats up to you. If using meat make sure to cook it completely and drain any grease. I also recommend cooking your veggies first too and cooking out the moisture so your quiche cooks properly.

- Sauted mushrooms with shallots and gruyere
- Spinach with feta
- Bacon, onion and cheddar
- Asparagus with goat cheese and chives
- Philly Cheesesteak (Sliced steak with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and swiss)
- Jalapeño Popper (Jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar and bacon)
- Buffalo Chicken (shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese and onions)
- Rueben (corned beef, sauerkraut-well drained, and swiss)
The possibilities are literally endless with a quiche!
